La presqu'île de Crozon

La presqu'île de Crozon

From the « Pointe des Espagnols » (land end) to the « Pointe des Capucins », you will discover an impressive defence system reinforced by Vauban in 1683.

Upon arrival at Camaret sur Mer, you will be drawn to the Vauban Tower (classified by UNESCO) and the Rocamadour chapel. Then you will head to the Pen Hir land end where you will admire the Iroise sea and the small islands called « Tas de Pois ».
On your return, you may stop off near the Lagatjar megalithic alignments.

When leaving Camaret, you will pass the Kerloc’h lake, protected by the coastal preservation foundation, where more than 320 species of plants have been identified, along with numerous birds.
On your left, you will appreciate the Dinan cape which we advise you to visit at sunset. The view is spectacular, the coastline majestic and its rock evokes a castle and its drawbridge.

You may then head south to discover the steep, rugged dune-like coast of the Chèvre cape. You will admire for a moment the different moves of the surfers in the height of practice on the immense La Palue beach. Then you may head to the “Cap’s” typical, colourful fishing villages where the Chèvre cape semaphore is erected, comprised of 2 watchmen.

Back at the seaside resort of Morgat, a stop at the “Maison des Minéraux” (mineral museum) is called for, where you can take the coastal path that leads to “Ile vierge” (or the St Hernot cape). The light, the clarity of the water and the aspect of the coast will remind you for a moment of the Mediterranean and its coves.
After walking these few kilometres along the coast, you will willingly accept to sail on the bay of Morgat to discover the sea caves, their legends and colours.

The Douarnenez bay is quite simply an ideal place for navigating, swimming and new sensations.
Before leaving the Crozon peninsula, you will have inevitably stopped at the biscuit factories, creperies and restaurants where you will appreciate the Breton eating habits and why not their language… so KENAVO AR VECH ALL
